ROPAX 2000 Model Testing

A large scale self propelled model is being developed to carry out model tests of the recently finalised ROPAX 2000 design. It is planned to have the model ready for sea trials in Greece during Summer 2004.

Second Version of VRS Virtual Platform Specification

The development of the VRS prototype has resulted in many valuable lessons being learned and has helped define the scope of the final VRS system, as well as demonstrating proof of the Virtual Platform concept. A proposal has been made for the structure of the user interface based upon lessons learned from the prototype. A specification will be produced to define the entire VRS system operation which will be used for the final development of the VRS system.

ROPAX 2000 Design
